There are at least 63 active drone sites around the U.S, federal authorities have been forced to reveal following a landmark Freedom of Information lawsuit. U.S. officials debate virulence of Iran-backed Hezbollah’s threat

Reuters…

(Reuters) – The warning last month from Representative Peter King, the chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security, was blunt: An investigation by his staff had determined that “hundreds” of people he described as “Iranian and Hezbollah terrorists” were in the United States. But interviews with U.S. intelligence and law enforcement officials, as well as private experts, about the Iranian-sponsored group paint a more nuanced picture. There is a threat, though whether it is imminent or extensive is far from clear, they say.

NYPD says Iran has conducted surveillance in NYC

AP…

WASHINGTON (AP) — Authorities have interviewed at least 13 people since 2005 with ties to Iran’s government who were seen taking pictures of New York City landmarks, a senior New York Police Department official said Wednesday.

Police consider these instances to be pre-operational surveillance, bolstering their concerns that Iran or its proxy terrorist group could be prepared to strike inside the United States, if provoked by escalating tensions between the two countries.

The media’s jihad

WND…                                                                                                                                  02/21/12

Last Friday, yet another devout Muslim, Amine El Khalifi, was arrested wearing a vest full of explosives before he could blow up the U.S. Capitol building. The thwarted homicide bombing marked at least the 45th publicly known attempted Islamic terrorist attack against the United States since 9/11, and it is the sixth such attack targeting Washington, D.C.

That is news. But was that the focus of news coverage in the following days? No, it was barely even mentioned by an enemedia that increasingly shows itself to be aligned with the jihad force. Instead of stories about this attempted jihad terror attack, the mainstream media were full of reports about how the New York Police Department had been monitoring members of the Muslim Students Association, a Muslim Brotherhood group.

The vicious media swarm about the monitoring of the MSA was another attack upon the very counterterrorism tools that are keeping us safe.

Wake Up, Panetta: UN, U.S. Have Opposing Interests

PJMedia…

On March 5, 2012, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta stated in the U.S. Congress that the United Nations and NATO have supreme authority over the actions of the United States military. Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) reacted to Secretary Panetta’s statement, saying:

I’m really baffled by the idea that somehow an international assembly provides a legal basis for the United States military to be deployed in combat. … The only legal authority that’s required to deploy the United States military is of the Congress and the president, and the law, and the Constitution.[i]

Can Obama’s detention plans be stopped?

FEMA Detention Camps

From WND…

A bipartisan team ranging from former Al Gore consultant Naomi Wolf to Ronald Reagan Justice Department official Bruce Fein have committed to working with state and local governments to make sure the citizen detention plans signed into law by Barack Obama are not enforced.

“Journalists aren’t safe. Union leaders aren’t safe. Activists aren’t safe. Liberty is not safe,” Wolf, an author of half a dozen books, said during a telephone conference call announcing plans.

Wyoming House advances doomsday bill

"I Am Legend" 2007

From Wyoming Tribune…

CHEYENNE — State representatives on Friday advanced legislation to launch a study into what Wyoming should do in the event of a complete economic or political collapse in the United States.

House Bill 85 passed on first reading by a voice vote. It would create a state-run government continuity task force, which would study and prepare Wyoming for potential catastrophes, from disruptions in food and energy supplies to a complete meltdown of the federal government.

Obama’s Un-American Nuclear Weapons Policy

Courtesy: McNaughtonart.com

From RedState…

Every once and a while I have to hit myself over the head and remember that whomever receives the Republican nomination – vices and all – must be supported over Obama.  Even though a Republican-controlled Congress can stop much of Obama’s domestic policy agenda (although they tend to cave), the president has wide latitude to act unilaterally on foreign policy.  His foreign policy is naive, dangerous, and downright un-American.  It’s even worse than his domestic policy.  Consequently, whenever we become disillusioned with the current crop of GOP candidates, we must remember Obama’s policies on defense and national security.
